The Maxwell family’s tradition of farming and wine making dates back to the late 1800’s. Our vineyards are located in the Texas Hill Country’s American Viticultural Area. Here our
vines thrive in the calcareous soils where seasonal rains and plenty of sunshine combine to produce a rich complexity of flavors in our wines.

Driving Directions
From Austin:
Take highway 290 West through Dripping Springs. At the intersection of US Hwy 290 and Hwy 281, turn right onto Hwy 281. In Johnson City take a left back onto US Hwy 290 toward Fredericksburg. Torre di Pietra will be on your left approximately 20 miles past Johnson City, 10 miles east of Fredericksburg.
From San Antonio:
Take I-10 West from San Antonio. In Comfort exit I-10 (Comfort Exit - Hwy 87N) and turn right onto Highway 87 North and continue to Fredericksburg, TX (approximately 20 miles). In Fredericksburg turn right on Main Street (Highway 290 East). Torre di Pietra is 10 miles east of Fredericksburg on the right.
